The Purpose of This Site

Once this site was just for me. It was a personal blog, journal or diary of my journey with the Lord. However one day reading it I found that this could also be a real testimony to the world. Evangelism is my heart. Jesus is my life. This is my real account of my Christian walk and revelation that I share with you. In all things take them to scripture. I do not claim to be an expert though I study, research and seek the truth daily. My purpose it to stir your heart towards the Heavenly Father so you can pursue your own Journey with the lord through his word and in spirit.

The Passion of Chaos

For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. (Luke 14:11)

So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. (1 Corinthians 3:7)

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. (Philippians 2:3)

Honor one another above yourselves. (Romans 12:10)

All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble." (1 Peter 5:5)

For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. (2 Corinthians 4:5)

So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, "We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty." (Luke 17:10)

This end of the season I have learnt a great and important lesson. I believe this lesson seperates the line of many different things in my life but upon simple observation, a test drive, and some research I have discovered that Passion if Misdirected and Misguided becomes Chaos. It is simple to see in the practical when a murder is called a "crime of passion". THough passion has a positive reflection most of the time. I believe we can all agree that murder is not exactly a pretty picture.

In my observation I have seen many a passionate men who passionate lead many into a very deep and dark place. While others may not necessarily lead others to dark place they may lead them to a place of light but not necessarily that of the fathers light.

Many times the misdirected and misguided passion is a murder also but not of the physical kind that we are so understanding but of a spiritual kind which we are not always so familiar with but indeed wither we understand it or not will have a great effect on us and on those around us.

Our Movies and music so full of passion could easily be driving us in a direction of destruction if we are not careful. Especially today we must keep close attention to what has grabbed our attention and what has impassioned us. What hobbies own us. What cars though we may ride in them may actually ride us. What obsession has become our intimate possession and therefore stepped before God and said. Lay aside that God for awhile. Grab hold of me.

As painful and perhaps sinister that image may be humility, and a Christ-like attitude will be the only salvation for the well worded one, the skillful and talented one. The impassioned one or the one who has grasped even the truth of God but has not been cleansed nor notified of his imperfections. We all have a thorns in our sides that lay us awake at nights or perhaps remind us though we may desire to inherit the world. We are not God.

Clearly I have at times went on my own ambitious journey and found that at the end even when that ambition is for the progress of Gods Kingdom if I am under no direct authority or I am not in God's will a strange fire will be unraveled and many will be hurt or perhaps misdirected.

This understanding needs to be clear. Clear for those reading and even clearer for myself. I must be very honest with my goal as well as the purpose of why I do the things I do otherwise it may go with it's own passion separate from Gods and do no Good. It will not be fruitful and it will leave a path a destruction in the name of Jesus. One thing I would never want to face up to on the day of judgment.

This is a general understanding of what some might call a ministry and some that are not called to a ministry yet head one. Not because they were called but because they were ambitious. Some might lead not because they were meant to lead but because they feel they are a better leader which immediately disqualifies them for that position.

In other words. Passion is Effective and fruitful passion only when connected to the vine. Separate from the vine. It becomes a weed. A weed that will live and will even grown but eventually will need to be pulled otherwise it will cause the entire garden to be destroyed.

When you feel you are the reason for your ministry or you are the pillar in your family. Remember this. What makes a ministry is God and what makes a family (church) is unity without any of these your creation is not of Gods and is of mans.

This is scary but true. Jim Jones started out a passionate man. Then became so passionate he set his bible aside and pride took over. He claimed the bible was inaccurate and in need of (re-translation)Others followed his ideals and because of this many people died. hundreds died. When you read of the Jones town massacre that happened you will read that there were mics. There was music. There were people. There was definitely ambition and passion. But there was no Bible found in Jones town.

Jeremiah 50:6

6 "My people have been lost sheep;
their shepherds have led them astray
and caused them to roam on the mountains.
They wandered over mountain and hill
and forgot their own resting place.

Isaiah 53:6

6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.

7 Whoever found them devoured them;
their enemies said, 'We are not guilty,
for they sinned against the LORD, their true pasture,
the LORD, the hope of their fathers

So what happens to the one that takes passion into his own hands. So what comes of the one who does not seek the authority of God but his own? What comes of the one who follows the path of the ambitious in the things of God?

Isaiah 53:7
Whoever found them devoured them
