The Purpose of This Site

Once this site was just for me. It was a personal blog, journal or diary of my journey with the Lord. However one day reading it I found that this could also be a real testimony to the world. Evangelism is my heart. Jesus is my life. This is my real account of my Christian walk and revelation that I share with you. In all things take them to scripture. I do not claim to be an expert though I study, research and seek the truth daily. My purpose it to stir your heart towards the Heavenly Father so you can pursue your own Journey with the lord through his word and in spirit.

5 Births at a Funeral

5Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can
enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 6Flesh gives
birth to flesh, but the Spirit[
b] gives birth to spirit. 7You
should not be surprised at my saying, 'You[
c] must be born again.' 8The wind
blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it
comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

So can there be a birth at a funeral? Have you ever seen one? Ponder it for a moment life that take place in a place where death is commonplace. I witnessed something similar as I am sure others have but did they note that while someone was being sent away others were being born.

This can be done when a message that embodies the message of life, the gospel is given. I saw this week 5 people give their lives at a funeral at it was quite exciting. What actually brought me to tears was hearing. "Yes I see your hands...would anyone else like to give their lives to the lord?" It was powerful. Empowering and humbling all at the same time.

God uses these such circumstances to speak to people that would rather not hear. Something about the imminence of death brings us to a logical conclusion of the eminence of salvation.
Evidently some not all hear which we come to realize but we are only given FULL understanding when we acknowledge that DEATH is knocking at our door.

Some don't even realize at the funeral some take it to the extreme of their death beds or worse just as they die.

Death is a difficult topic but recently while at a wedding I heard the word preached again in the same redeeming way. IT is amazing that no matter the circumstance whither death or new beginnings like in a marriage the message of God brings life, refreshing and renewal.

So this I implore of the saved. Will you wait do what God has called you to do on the day you hear you are paralyzed from the neck down, the day a family member dies, a friend or worse when you are in some painful or terminal circumstance.

We always preach to the unsaved about salvation but how much do we preach to the saved about revelation. Our place is help in the Kingdom of heaven. Our soul bought by a price.
Is our desire to see others come to same place or are we happy because we made it.

If God can work at a funeral if he can renew the beauty of marriage that the world has so candidly destroyed can he not even do it in casual ways through his children. Is it that we are only willing to share when we have a choice or is it our choice to share primarily the gospel.

This blog though recieving it hiccups has indeed challenged me. As I write I am challenged over and over again. Myspace, Utube so many methods of media out there. Are they being used to spread the gospel in awsome meaningful, breakthrough ways or are they being used to perpetuate and duplicate the forbidden words and ideas of the world. How do we ecspect others to catch a revelation if all we are casting out into the ocean is what the world gives us. If we have no revelation of this great need others will not catch the passion and they may have to wait for the next great funeral to come to revelation of the message they were told a long time ago or that their christian friend had no time to discuss with them because they themselves had the Gospel choked out by the worries and the cares of the world.

Luke 8:14
4The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go
on their way they are choked by life's worries, riches and pleasures, and they
do not mature. 15But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and
good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a
crop.

  2. Thank You, I realize that I did not choose him but he choose me. If I never would have said yes. I wonder still to this day if I would even be here. I try to live daily for jesus and this Blog helps me in keeping a forward momentum in Christ. It challenges me. It is a testimony and a reminder of the blessings and the of the pain so that I may never loose touch with the Power of God in my life. I am a VERY thankful person. That I only wish I could be more thankful.
