A Lie Revealed

Pslams 37:4
Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.

In listening to the Lord on Suday today I heard the lord say.
"There is one promise; Not two." In all the day I kept thinking what this meant.
A part of me could not let Go. When God speaks man has a tendancy to listen once he has gotten the revelation from whom it came. And only then. For anyone else it is foolishness.

So in all of this I was poised with this question. Which promise are you living on?
Where is your home in my promise or the worlds? Clearly I have been set astray myself by the desires of my heart and loosing ground which what God is doing in me. Or did I? For who can escape God? From where can you flee from his word. Even of that word to you may seem harsh or even...well invalid.

Our minds fight with the whats if's we forget the argue the what if nots. Sometimes we are so involved playing for the home team that we forgot to look at ourselves objectivly so that we can be the one God has made us to be.

If your promise is ...hopeful finaces, in your career or your Job? Is it in your ministry. Even this will faulter. Or is your Hope your promise in the Lord Jesus.

Sometimes as far fetched as this may sound to most who do not know Jesus. Imagine that more than half the world basis it's decisions on finances and status alone. The other on Education. And more than 70% of the wealthy by age 70 years of age have gone bankrupt as well as more than 60% of College graduates actually are unemployed. While an additional 56% of those graduates hold a minimum wage Job. The Promise of the world is dim. The lies of the world are gleaming. The promise of the new car and new 5 bedroom home on the beach. Which is greater the palace or the Kingdom? Anyone would say the kingdom for the kingdom is the whole of whom inhabits the palace. The very power in which a person might be so inclined to have a palace. However the thinking of this world is own the item and you have the kingdom.

This world is completely turned upside down for whomever is part of the Kingdom not only lives within the palace but also takes ownership of the Kingdom. This very think is kept from the minds of people (unsaved) and many even saved.

Closed off by the Jargon of Working for salvation the free gift of salvation becomes a carival game. Based on the carnal desire of achivement instead of the spiritual outworkings of living in the spirit. Our sins become obsticales and and our speech proclaims Inconquearble fears that more than half the time do not exist or become exagerated in our heads.

Yes this world has given lies. Whoever has the fastest car wins. Far too many forget the police are right behind you. If not death follows even closer. Either way you will be captive to something.

The lies are that we cannot overcome. The lie is that we have two choices both in our lives. Both to the saved and the unsaved this is a message of freedom but more importantly of truth. Which this world holds no understanding of. If it does only for a short time and surly only for bait for a far bigger lie.

The Two choices tear us from our saviour. We walk the fence in hope that we can live two seperate lives and find which one will pay off. When in fact because of their very nature one must defeat the other. They cannot coexist.

The world will force itself upon us. The ideals. The implications of fame, wealth, sucess, love all incapsuled in our movies, music and media. However God will not force himself upon you unless given into the wrong hands of man bent on pride. Because of this we are given a freedom by the one promise that the other cannot compare. The freedom to choose. To Live the Gospel or Not.

We can choose to follow the lie or the truth. The truth is so dimly lit that far too many do not understand the ideal of truth any longer. I myself struggle with this daily. This world plays with words, and intention through deception. And deception is leading the lie. To the biggest lie of all.

The Biggest lie is that the World cares for us, The Devil does not exist and God is an idea. Dishearted many who even come into christianty thinking the world will instantly turn in love and acceptance towards them are quickly jolted from this falacy.

However we put the emphasis on this Palace and not the entirty (the completeness) of what true sucess is. True Success is revealing the lie and living in the truth. Understanding that we have no allies in the worlds system but only God.

The creator always chooses to preserve which the creation by nature naturally breaks itself down. Whom do you trust the creator or the created?
