Chained and Overpowered by Half Truths

THE TROUBLE WITH REVELATION

The interesting thing with revelation is not that it is particularly hard to find, however, it does come in small bursts and if you are not ready to see it, it will simply pass you by.  I feel even if there is a minuscule amount of revelation to this post that is worth it to seek his word for more wisdom as this truth is revealed.  Continue to see the Word of God for more of this truth.

It leaves us wanting more but we have to accept the core of the truth before we can go any further. Sometimes the core of the truth is the hardest for us to accept.  We have been convinced that to have no foundation is far better than to have one but to build a house with these same principles makes no sense so I doubt doing so spiritually will be a very good idea at all.  This is a half truth.  Perhaps having no foundation keeps you from a level of accountability but there is, in-turn no direction which defeats the point to begin the journey at all.

Today I heard something from someone I highly respect and honor. He said the half truths we allow in our lives become the Devil's full lies.  On the surface this sort of goes to be almost obvious.. Something that on the surface at least for a Christian seems pretty simple but something far bigger lies inside this statement.

Additionally Revelation without a foundation is deadly to vision.

Proverbs 29:18-19
18.Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint;
but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction. 19.
Servants cannot be corrected by mere words; though they understand, they will not respond.

THE POWER WE ALLOW OVER OUR LIVES

What if all the Half truth in our lives became the power the enemy had over our lives.  What if by accepting half truths by not understanding the word of God or fully knowing what the word of God says about a topic or idea had given the enemy the DEVIL himself or the evil of the world foothold into my life and those around me and even better how can I identify these half truths and see them for what they are and identify them in my own life.  Would this disarm the enemy at the very core of the lie? Making him hopeless to his old schemes. What if by spiritually even entertaining half truth gave entrance of those things into our lives?

Phillipians 4:8-9
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE - THE CORE LIE.

It all started at the TREE of Knowledge and to this day continues to cover the landscape of time.  To Social media and even to the news the lies continue and it is our sheer pride that keeps us from being awaken to this lie and captive by evil both created by ourselves and a snare created by the DEVIL himself.  Sometimes we create a rather fine line here with the desires of our heart and to be led by his word gives us a treasure and something even greater a secret if you will to disarm the devil in our lives and to disarm the evil in others.

If we look at the Tree of Knowledge what Lie did Satan say about the Tree.
He said..a simple word yes but.  This is why God says let you Yes's be your yes'es and your no's be your no's this is because evil starts at the core of a half truth. God in his infinite wisdom knew this.

John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

The Devil is the father of all the lies or from every half truth is birthed a FULL Lie.  We however give birth to it.  It has no power till we accept it. No power on it own till we own it.

Genesis 3:1-5 "God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."³ So, Adam and Eve gained knowledge of the difference between good and evil through direct experience, instead of through instruction by God. (This destroyed the need for relationship/nullifing the relationship between God and Man.)

God said eat of it an you will die God stated they would have knowledge of Good and Evil and What the devil said was a half truth he started with identifying the tree and saying yes...and then he nullified everything by leaving out the complete truth. We know that what Satan said was it will reveal knowledge this was true but what God told them was also truth.  It was complete truth but the information offered by Satan was a half truth.  A Deadly and life changing half truth. God never lied from that point Man was Dead to God without Redemption...Luckily God has a better plan and knew that man has a choice and he will choose because love requires choice.

To Identify this half truth would have changed the way the world have played out its creation story all -together changing the relationship between man and god and sin and redemption.  The Devil knew this. God however in his infinite wisdom knew that MAN has a choice and he made allowances because he is a GOOD AND GRACIOUS GOD. His complete truth. Overcame the half truth and his faithfulness comes through when the lie set to deceive became the Gospel of Truth of Redemption of Sin we now live as Christians.

THE CORE LIE DEFINED

Psalm 106:1
Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His loving kindness is everlasting.

The Core of the Lie is that God is Not Good. TO Accept this lie gave power to Evil and made the plot of Satan move forward.  If there would have been no doubt that God was good then there would have been no entertaining the idea to go against God's wishes.

The trick, in the end is to complete all the half truths with the full truths of the word of God.
So that the lies of the enemy can hold no ground and they become ineffective in our lives.
