The Purpose of This Site

Once this site was just for me. It was a personal blog, journal or diary of my journey with the Lord. However one day reading it I found that this could also be a real testimony to the world. Evangelism is my heart. Jesus is my life. This is my real account of my Christian walk and revelation that I share with you. In all things take them to scripture. I do not claim to be an expert though I study, research and seek the truth daily. My purpose it to stir your heart towards the Heavenly Father so you can pursue your own Journey with the lord through his word and in spirit.

Another Quick Announcement

JOB

this is an audio post - click to play
The glorious angels gathered 'round God's mighty throne one day,
All of them eager to hear what the King of Kings had to say.
Satan also came to present himself, why, we do not know,
But the Lord allowed the presence then of His most ancient foe.

And God looked sternly at Satan and asked him, "From whence you came?"
Satan replied, "From roaming the earth, up and down." basking in his sudden fame.
"Have you considered my servant, Job?" God asked, "There is none on earth like him."
But Satan scoffed and said, "Strike him down, remove your hedge, and surely he will sin."

The Lord agreed to let Satan deal Job a most crippling blow,
But only on his possessions and family, not a mark on Job must show.
So Satan left, chuckling in glee, and called his demons around him,
And commanded them to strike Job down and crush his spirit, confident he'll sin.

The angels watched in consternation as Satan toiled day and night,
Each wanting to stand with Job against Satan; draw their swords and fight.
But Almighty God stretched forth His hand and commanded them to hold,
With love He told them to stay their swords and watch the story unfold.

And so it came that Job received messages of utmost despair,
All his possessions, livestock and family destroyed beyond repair.
In grief and heartache he tore his robes and shaved the hair from his head,
And falling to the ground in worship, this is what he said:

"Naked I came into the world and naked I will depart,
And in that time, Sovereign Lord, You hold me to your heart.
In love, O' Lord you give, and in wisdom you take away,
And I will praise your name forever, from that I will not stray"

Again the angels gathered at the throne, and Satan also came,
And God asked again from whence he came and Satan said the same.
"Look at Job." God declared, "He has not sinned as yet,
Though you have incited me to strike him down, his heart for me is set"

"Bah!" cried Satan, "Still you protect him and cover him with a hedge,
Let me strike his very body, and this to you I pledge.
That even righteous Job will sin and curse you to your face,
And the world can watch as I will win and put you in your place."

"Agreed!" Said God, in agony, "I'll let you cause your strife,
But only to his body, I will not let you take his life"
So Satan left the throne once more to carry out his awful plan,
And inflict a lot of painful sores upon this righteous man.

Again the angels watched this test, their eyes full of tears,
As righteous Job lived painfully through his heart's most grievous fears.
But still he bowed his head in praise and worshiped God on High,
While Satan screamed in wrath and frustration as he stood by.

And so you see, when tragedy hits so very close to home,
We can choose to remain in worship, or allow our heart to become stone.
For it's in love that the Lord gives and wisdom he takes away,
And I will praise his name forever, from this I will not stray.

But the story did not end there for Job, after he had passed the test,
For God, so pleased with his servant, gave him peaceful rest.
And restored to him all the things that Satan had destroyed,
So much so that righteous Job was blessed and overjoyed.

Hav'n fun with the Audio Blogger - Come Give me Rest

this is an audio post - click to play

Come Give me Rest. Is not done. It actually has not even been written as of yet. I have the Chords but no solid lyrics. However with the song comes its own properties. A simple inquiry unto the Lord for Rest. That in his arms ."is caress that we might find a peace that supasses all understanding both in the storm and in the battle. David would sing his Psalm of the Lord and his hedge of protection. His Fortress. I believe that many times we cannot find that rest we are looking for because we are too involved with the world around us and forget the simple things that God has given us to enjoy. His peace. His Glory. his Worship. His Body. And His Church. Many times we forget that the Rest that God gives is not only powerful but seperates us from the world and gives us strength to endure and to push forward in what he has called us to do.

Join me in praise this morning. More Audio Blogging - INHERITANCE

As the Body comes together both in its strife and in it's glory. We find that many times God has something he wishes to give us. Either it be a gift. A land or just him in our lives. We need to bow before God and take what he has for us. We need to hear and take what it is he has for us. In our praise and in our love. His will presides over everything. Every will. Every desire. But God most definitely has an inheritance for his church.

More Fun with the Audio Blogger. YOU BRING HOPE

Sometimes we feel hopeless. Sometimes we feel that we can no longer go forward. But God alone brings hope for us. In his presence we are given hope, rest and comfort. His precense overflows with love and becomes a part of us. This is Christ Jesus and his power in our life that we are to share with others. That is what this song is about.

We question Why God? Where are you? We must come to our knees before him and ask him. Lord show me your Glory. his presence comes and shows us both who he is and his properties become the Glory that we live in and show others.

The Man Without a Face

this is an audio post - click to play

I have been watching "A Man Without A Face". I remember watching it a long time ago but now have a different idea about the film. It holds far more meaning for me now in 2005. It is difficult to watch a man sacrifice all that he has for the success of another. That he would loose his peace and his life so that someone else might become successful. I almost cried and without loosing it all I really needed to understand what this movie was about and why it moved me so. The idea that the man has no face or a scared face holds a strong meaning. The man who has no face need not have one for the side of him that is in question is the side no one understands. A side that most of us all have. The scar of the past represent mistakes that were made. The movie is about grace and love and in many ways a Christ-like love. There is a scene where Mel Gibson stands up and says "If you can only see the scars then you cannot see me." I know why this movie has hit me as hard as it has. Fairness and digression is not an option when you deal with the judgment of the world. Far be it from the church that holds itself as a body of protection. Mel Gibson who played, McLoud "The Man without the Face" played the part of any man who stands up for others regardless of the consequence. Loosing his home his place of rest he gave it up for the Tender Mercies of Injustice. Sometimes we need someone who will believe in us without the infraction of "TUFF LOVE". Trying to make a point of love without showing unconditional love is not showing love at all. Sometimes we try so hard to make a point or prove a situation that we forget the reason we loved to begin with. Many times we loose touch with ourselves on a Journey or Mission that has no goal and no destination. More than likely it has hurt people in the wakes.

This movie touched me because the same love that is seen is this movie seems not to exist anymore. It has become a product of fantasy. I believe the reason for this is because there is no reward. Many times we must sacrifice all we have for another our time, our homes, our lives. Yet there is no reward.

We all have scars and many people refuse not to look at them. For that reason they cannot see who we have become and therefore we return back to our place of desolation. A place where there is no need for trust. No need for understanding. A place where we hide until someone who believes in us finds us and uses us for the purpose we were born for.

Too Many times in the church and I think even in families alone we wait for people to prove themselves. We wait for them to show they have changed or they have stepped forward in some way. Many times those people do not have the help of others or a conditional help that wants results but has no desire to really help. If one might actually trust and sacrifice that might find that person once given the opportunity can actually perform adequately. However many times we are as a mouse in a cage waiting to see how we will be poked or tested. Then finally realizing the only freedom from this treatment is escape from the cage. The Cage sadly enough is the world and it surrounds us. I would like to say that the church forgets and forgives and though it may; many times it does not. It still holds your scars in their pockets. It still sees through eyes of judgment.

I see God bringing people together and bringing everyone to the level of understanding what "the least of them" meant. Do we sacrifice for nothing? - Yes
Otherwise it would not be sacrifice. I ask the same question of why Jesus would die for us? To me we are nothing. Do we learn? No Are we pure of sin... So why the sacrifice? Because has Grace and Mercy abides in us. Do we treat others the same way or do we have an ulterior motive. I believe the Lord is taking the Church to this place. Taking them from their place and putting them within the storm.

If you believe in me. Will you do what I say even when it does not benefit you?
Will you do it for the least of them? - Will you sacrifice all that you are and accept man kind as I have? As equal - To all - But God no matter what race. What disability, abnormality , attitude or personality? - Many times we look to find these people around us and cannot find them. Many times we are the least of them. Will we forever be unchanged? Will be always be flawed? Perhaps..But God sees us as his final creation as should we see the purpose that God sees in them.
Sometimes we have to let go; sacrifice it all to let someone else have their dream.

Mat 25:40 "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." ... 45 "I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me."

The "Feel Good" Jesus UnThroned

this is an audio post - click to play

I know this entry is going to shake me and whoever
is reading but the importance of this message needs
to be better presented. The ideal of accepting a
God that does not exist and believe you follow him
is just a dangerous and not having Jesus at all.
Jesus was Man and Fully God. The Bible Says that
Mankind would accept the man jesus but reject his
diety.

I find it interesting that people embrace
the feel goodness of God but reject his authority
in their lives. In effect accepting the gift of the
messenger them killing him where he stands.

Jesus becomes a charm or a license plate. We might
even wear a cross around our knecks but do we wear
it around our hearts. Not a moment will pass when
you will recieve a well intentioned email
describing the inner quailites of God. the Beauty
that he created and the Kindness that he gives.

Jesus is a God of Truth. Since he is a God of
Truth sometimes that truth is hard to hold onto.
Instead we create something that God is not and
thereby loose his identity and no longer can find
who God is. Instead we are swept by pictures of a
man with a red or reddish brown hair with a beard
and walking in White garments. We hold that Jesus
was a character of creation when in fact he is
creation. We are impressed by the antidotes of
Oprah, Dr. Phil or Dr. Laura but deny the source of
wisdom that God the very creator of those beings
is. It makes no logical sense. Help me here but
How can someone say they are moral or they have a
better way? The ideas of thes people are adapted
from the bible but the deity of power of those
words and values are deadened by the denial of his
Holy power? Like a pen without ink there is no
long lasting mark or impression thereby no understanding.

The Power is God not the idea of the value. God Brings good things but
through him those Good things are given Life. God is Good.God is Love.

With the Statment that God is Love we immediately
think that God accepts our sins rolls them under a
rug and says. It okay..He's with me. God is Loving,
Understanding and Mercyiful but he does not condone sin
nor does he accept it as ALRIGHT. His grace and mercy is
there becasue we simply do not deserve it. He goes up in our defense as our interceder against to enemy the accuser.
He is not the Geni of Sin. He is the
Hope for Redemption for Fallen Man.

It shows why some people can walk with a cross
around their neck cut someone off on the freeway
flip the bird and peel out at the stop light. It
shows how we might be able to go to church on a
sunday and forget that he is the God of our lives
all week long. It also explains why people might
not be able to hear God. Do they want to hear from
the God that exists or the one they created?

During Christmas we sing songs and are full of Joy
when we hear the Songs of Hope and of Purpose. We
hear the songs of Jesus and his Birth. We hear
songs or melodies that are fun and positive things.
We feel good. We feel hopeful.. Then we gather
the CD's..records or whatever we might have and
stack them away for next year.

Sunday becomes a task and not a desire. God
becomes the second to our day and the last in our
night. As we hit the pillow we murmur a prayer
asking for a God to bless or help when we in fact
have not established a relationship with him.

God is amazing he will talk to you. You just have
to listen and be willing to hear against what you
will and only want his. We need to break ourselves
to hear what his words are not how we might like to
say them.

People are overthrown by the Good or the Good of
things. We are excited to hear of a God that
protects..or blesses...We might even be glad to
hear of a God that might show us how to Love. I
know I am very happy to have had the ability to
learn that from God. But are we a happy to hear of
the God that demands or directs. Or gives
athoritve commands or uncompromising direction.

I am not denoting the grace or the mercy of Jesus I
am simply looking at the Whole of God that is far
more beautiful than the one made up and marketing
to people. The Jesus that people tattoo on their
arms or sing about in a Song. Or perhaps reject.
When looking at the Profile of God we tend to throw
away the qualities we do not like enhance the ones
we do. In a sense denying the peronality of God
and thus surrendering our responsibility to serve
or worship him.

Church becomes a choice and not a DESIRED time of devoted worship outside our daily schedules of work and life. Instead he and his time become a dull sound of religious ideals and lost reality of who he really is.

Many people are shocked at a God that could wipe out nations and children and familys and old people alike for sin or for disobedience they deny he might even exist. Overshadowed by a far cuter more peaceful Baby Jesus we forget that same BABY is the LORD and SAVIOR of this WORLD. The Creator. The Earth is his footstool.

The Key is Saviour. Jesus came so that we might be saved. That we might understand and have a relationship with his father with the requirement of knowing and him first.

People talk to God. To what God are they praying if they do not know Jesus?

is there a checklist? There is no Checklist just a leading voice to follow. Can you hear it above the music or the ideals of Good projected on T.V. or the Radio.

Much of this world lives by the Majority standards of Media...(T.V.,Radio and Media) Need you be a professor of socialogy to see that the standards are not working.

The very thing that most people deny and reject.
Is the very key to what they need? It is a new car. A New home. A New Car..A healed family member?

No..It is the Salvation of Jesus and the Reationship with his Church that he intended.

Far too many times we are so interested in doing Good we ignore the one who brought it.

JESUS CHRIST.

Ears Peeled...Eyes Peeled....Knees to the Ground

Simple Instructions recieved from God today.Ears Peeled...Eyes Peeled....Knees to the Ground It is amazing how sometimes we think we have things figured out. Like our place of worship. Our knowledge of God. our Hearts. Then we find out that not only were we wrong but we were not even close or we were close but with the wrong heart. Evaluating myself after some words from a friend I am having to correct some things. I can not help but feel like God is doing some amazing things this year. No that he works in years or by our calender but it would seem that there is a breaking point happening. People are coming to clarity or surely turning away from him.

As I watch the horrible disaster of the Tsunami Victims I think of the short existance that we have on this planet. Even moreso how short it can be when it is indeed our time to go or we are a victim of some tragedy or accident.

EZiekl
19 "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: When I make you a desolate city, like cities no longer inhabited, and when I bring the ocean depths over you and its vast waters cover you,

We have to sometimes ask ourselves. Where was I? What if I was there?
God is setting the path for many and giving warning signs all over the world.
He is placing his elect before the situation and pointing to what we might see as being obscure or strange. But he is seeking out testimony of our very existance. He is pouncing on our hearts and trying to show us ..that we are not Gods of the world. Nor will we ever be. Christian or not. You must be humble to know that people lives were destroyed by a single blow of a wave. Downcast and overtaken by the seas. Enveloped by the crashing of waves and a pulling of the tide. A scepter or king would not matter. There was no discrimination. Nor will there be on the day of judgement. There we be no sounds of pain...or of crying on that day. Sounds of silence awaiting a verdict and then there will be a gnashing of teeth. Are you ready?

Were do christians find their answers in Books..In Movies..In Song.
Or from God himself.
Can we be sure that what we are hearing is clear?
If it is clear? Why do we ponder wait or even reject what he is saying outright?

With our ears to hear his voice..and our eyes open to see what he is trying to show us. Is that enough. Is simply being aware important? Yes it is. But more important is the desire to take up what you are being told and what you are seeing and bringing it to the throneroom of God. In his prescense do we find that we might be sincere. But perhaps could be sincerely wrong. We could in fact want the best but caused the problem. would could in fact have a good intention but caused devistation. We need to evaluate what god is telling us. For a world that is unclear..sometime we need to seek for an anwser that far outweighs the worlds loud voice. Many times we are so involved in the crowd we cannot hear the still small voice of God. His kind beakoning. his direction. his comments or his statements. his instruction. If indeed we have a difficult time to put a desk together without a manual. Why do we feel we can live without reading a manual for life or seeing a consultant to deal with lives issues. Are we so bold to say. I figured it out. Perhaps we need to listen more. I want to come out by saying. Yes I do. I need to spend more time in his holy precense. My time is busy but if it is too busy for God. What does that tell me about my Love for him. His words say. Get away from me you workers of inequity..I never knew you. If I claim I love. Then Love I must. All of Gods people..My family but most importantly My god. Thank you Lord Jesus. you have brought peace...instruction...direction...correction....I am looking forward to the new year...I'll keep my ears peeled...my eyes peeled..and knees to the ground.

“Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand. 14In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “ ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. 15For this people's heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’[a] 16But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. 17For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.
